60 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 sonnycheeba (61) Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland | May 8, 2013 Pretty generic brewpub with a large open dining area and a small gift shop. Service was okay. Selection is pretty much all Redhook beers with the standard lineup available as a flight, but the main draw is the brewmaster specials and seasonals. Varied food menu and all the items we ordered were very good. Overall a decent place to visit and have a few pints. | 96 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 streetbob57 (3) , | February 13, 2013 I am a regular here. I really enjoy going here in the summer and sitting outside with a cold draft and a cigar. Yes I said cigar! I have been asked to stop smoking a cigar at other local places while sitting next to someone smoking a cigarette. The outdoor patio is pet friendly as well! Stop by and relax! | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 15/20 annunz123 (17) Taunton, Massachusetts | September 2, 2011 Have gone here a couple of times and it’s never disappointed. Very good food, very good prices, good service, and a reasonably good selection of beer from the brewery across the street. | 60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 Braudog (655) Hampton, Virginia | August 21, 2011 August 2011. Not far from I-95, this expansive campus near the former Pease AFB is an interesting spot for a fun restaurant and brewery tour. Friendly service and stalwart Redhook ales are draw enough. Worth a detour. Brewery #535. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Spelt (4) East Kingston, New Hampshire | July 23, 2011 Very casual and comfortable environment with options for indoor and outdoor dining. Excellent selection of well made pub foods. Beer selection is very nice and a few "here only" surprises. Enjoy a tour of the brewery and stop in the gift shop after your meal. | 72 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 puboflyons (64) Allenstown, New Hampshire | April 30, 2011 Located in the Pease International Tradeport, a former military base turned into a business-industrial complex, the Redhook Brewery is a large but unobtrusive building next to a hotel. Stepping inside you immediately see the gift shop with their bottled signature beers for sale. Growlers are also available. The bar curves along the edge with several two-seater tables and four-seater booths throughout the dining area. There’s a fireplace lounge area. There are a dozen or so beers on tap with a mixture of signature brews and brewpub-only brews. The food is your typical pub fare and I had the pulled pork, which was served to me in under ten minutes. Friendly staff. Not a bad place to enjoy lunch or dinner. | 68 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 16/20 AirForceHops (77) Epping, New Hampshire | September 9, 2010 I first went here with liveFREEorRye and I can’t believe I’m just now rating it!! "most of the bartenders know everything about the beer they serve. Down to what hops are used to brew what beer, IBU’s, ABV, where the style originated, etc. They food isnt anything amazing but decent pub food. The beers are cheap and you can take a tour of the brewery for 1$ and you get to try all their beers(excluding the limited releases) and get a souvenir 4oz tasting glass. My expectations were low. But what can I say? Despite my preconceived notions, I had a good time. All the standard brews were on tap, plus a few extras. I tried a Rye Not Rye, a Right Hook Red (which was pretty excellent) and a Ballard IIPA. The beers were a mix of pedestrian and surprisingly good. Foodwise, I had a Buffalo Chicken Pita that had pretty excellent. Even their homemade kettle potato chips were surprisingly good. Beers were $4-$4.50, pretty standard, food was reasonably priced. I’m not sure the waittress paid me close attention (and frustrated me at times), but she made up for it by giving me samples when I couldn’t decide on what to try next (free of charge) and simply being cute (don’t underestimate cute). All in all, the experience far exceeded my expectations. | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 19/20 liveFREEorRYE (10) Portsmouth, New Hampshire | June 15, 2010| Updated August 11, 2010 . Beer pairings are suggested on the menu as well. Popping into the pub there allows you to have the chance to sample crazy experimental beers that they don’t release or bottle often - and they’re of great quality. The tour costs $1.00 and comes with a free tasting glass and plenty of beer samples. Tours run all day, and it’s a nice place for lunch and a beer tour. |
