Quite small beer selection; 7 beers on tap, 13 more on bottle ( mostly std german). Lots of weapons in hall. Quick and prompt service . Good food, mostly meat based, but I enjoyed the fish.
Good place, but not worth the high rati g for a beer lover | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 Dogbrick (561) Columbus, Ohio | April 17, 2012| Updated September 30, 2012 (Visited 11/2011): Zeughauskeller is located just a short walk north of Poststrasse on Bahnhofstrasse.
The interior boasts quite an armory with artillery, crossbows and other weapons displayed. Large windows looking outside. Lots of wood including ornate ceilings, chandeliers and tables.
Zeughauskeller’s beer selection includes 6 drafts and around 15 bottles. The beers are pretty much all from the region, including Ittinger, Locher, Turbinen, Falken and Feldschlösschen.
The service during our dinner visit was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and effortlessly switched to English to accommodate us tourists. He made good food recommendations and knew a lot about their beer
Food was also great at this restaurant. We ended up each getting a sausage plate and they were both great.
Overall I would highly recommend this spot to take in the local culture and try some good local beers. | 72 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Dorqui (123) Brescia, Italy | April 8, 2011| Updated September 30, 2012 Near the Bahnhofstrasse this restaurant/pub is been the best place visited in Zurich. Wide, receiving and with a lot places to seat. Elegant furnishing, tavern style with red fire-bricks anywhere. Valid choose of swiss and german beers, mostly lager (pale and dunkel). Impressive menù. Chosen wide of typical plates for all the tastes. Quick and kindly staff with the foreigners. |
