86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 dbrigham81 (1) , | January 29, 2013 Brand new production-oriented brewery in very large (>20,000 sq. ft) warehouse with small tasting area that still looks to be in the process of construction and expansion. Very nice sized brewhouse but there is tons of room for future expansion which is nice. Very good selection on tap currently with my favorites being the Extra Red, Hellion, and Big Deluxe IOS. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful (all beer guides working are Certified Beer Servers from Cicerone program). Prices are good ( $6 flights, $5 full pour, very reasonable growler prices as well). Small barrel program in effect. Empty barrels being used as table currently, but am told tables will be in shortly. Small space heaters (gets a little chilly on cold nights even inside). Great place and great beer and am definitely looking forward to what they have planned for the future! | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 GT2 (341) Riverslime, California | December 30, 2012 A very well capitalized brewery starting up. Huge warehouse space, immaculate, clean, tremendous room to expand at current square footage. Only 5 beers on tap, they were solid with the two that were quite yummy. All served in plastic cups :/ Not enough barrels on the floor for tables- had to use a kegerator as a table for minute. Area heaters inside the floor space for visitors in the makeshift ’tasting room’ on the brewhouse floor. Looks like they already have a barrel program starting. Friendly service, prices fine. Easier to find than Donkey Punch, which is literally caddy-corner to Ritual but no big banner to alert you that there is a secret brewery within this mega mega industrial compound that is about 100 city blocks in area and no signs anywhere to let you know what is going on inside of their blank facades. Every government secret could be held in that compound. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 womencantsail (386) Garbage Grove, California | December 29, 2012 Huge warehouse location. Not much filling it at the moment. Tasting area with a number of barrels used as tables. Friendly and informed service, five beers on tap during our visit. Only really enjoyed two of them, though. Prices were okay, I suppose. Looks like these guys are following the Hangar 24 business model. |
