This place was the first restaurant Mrs Jimthechap and I visited on honeymoon in the Cooks and were happy to have found the local Matutu beer. It was served in good condition unlike the same purchased later from a bottle store that had not treated it well.
As for the restaurant, an idyllic setting on the very edge of the lagoon and they donít mind if you drag a bit of sand in on your feet. Friendly, attentive staff, a good menu with fresh fish and a local classic dish Ika Mata (highly recommended). Donít let the lack of range of beers put you off as youíll find this to be the case the island over.
