Cosy old fashioned beer hall. Well attended by both local and tourists. English menu available. Had a nice stew here, basic food but done very well. The brewpub beers all decent enough but plain. Just a nice easy going atmosphere here, felt very relaxed and had a nice evening.

Very crowdy place at sunny time. I like the garden and especially the Weizen here. I also had a lunch here and it was great. But the prices are a little bit higher.

Nice restaurant, especially the part in the cellar. Food is ok. Beers are below average. Salm is more focused on building brew houses than on brewing good beer.

Enjoyed their beers are a sweltering day in July ’09. Food looked good; had a large pretzel. Tasty. tried their Helles and marzen; decent enough. A bit of a walk from the center; but easy to get to on a tram. Give ’er a go.

It was very convenient to find this place when we very going to the Gustav Klimt exhibition at Belvedere. The Salm Bräu is, in fact, located next to the entrance to the palace. First there is a nice and well-kept biergarten with stone slabs before entering the pub and the brewhouse. There were six draught beers, and I tasted four of them. Fresh, clean, and decent brews that were quite alright, without being outstanding in any way. Polite service from barmaids dressed in nice costumes. Busy place on a Saturday afternoon (visited with frau Eva, 28.07.2012).

Awesome Pils and Helles. Cozy though very busy when we visited. 6,7 beers avaliable all very well brewed. I liked this place. Must if in Vienna. Service is not the best but they were extremely busy.

RBESG 2012 - Day 1. Very busy when we were there, and the waiters made it very clear that non-eating guests weren’t very welcome. The crowd added ambiance though, and the beer was good

Visited during RBESG’12. Sat in their beer garden, which was packed. Had some decent beers, although quite bland. Good weizen here. Didn’t try food. Inside looked cozy and warm. Would go here again, really liked the patio.

Busy place with a nice inside garden area. Service was equally busy but still fast. Their brews are of various quality, but nothing out of the ordinary. Didn’t try the food. Good for a quick beer, see what’s going on.

Very touristy place in city center. Nice ambiance. Beers are not bad, staff was little bit arrogant, but after a while everything was OK. If you are in area, stop for a beer.
