A big supermarket, mostly German macro. Didn’t see any local stuff or the American fridge, but perhaps I missed it. Kilkenny was super cheap.

Large super-market of the Edeka-chain in the eastern suburbs of Frankfurt; the beer-selection is strictly limited to some ubiquitous industrial stuff, but some hessian micros (Wäldches, Bier-Hannes, Kärrner - partly hidden in refrigerators) are available, too. In the centre of the market You can find also a fridge filled with pricey Braufaktum products.
Good selection of local ciders, french cheeses and first class english potato chips…

This immense supermarket outside the city center (on your way to Bier-Hannes with tram 11) happens to have one of Frankfurt’s only Braufactum import fridges, so if you’re in the mood for something like Firestone Walker, Baladin, Birrificio Italiano, Boon or Brooklyn, on top of Braufactum brews, this place has a great selection of them all (great for Germany, that is).
