Good pub on a backstreet in Bethnal Green. Solid range of beers on both cask and keg with a great focus on London breweries. Good burgers. Good value overall. Moderate bottle selection. A nice meeting between old school pub and new age beers. Recommended.

The pub can be found in a quiet area in the northern part of Bethnal Green, about ten minutesí walk from the tube. Itís a well-kept, relatively large freehouse with six cask ales by hand-pump and about 20 on kegs. I had local beers from London breweries, but some of the ales came from other regions. For food I had their famous cheeseburger with mustard and tomato, very tasty, even though I get the burgers better back home at BlŚ Rock Cafť. At Sebright Arms there was a narrow little patio in the back, and the service at the bar was quite alright offering samples of their beers. A classic English pub well worth visiting for food, atmosphere, and well-kept ales (visit on a Sunday afternoon, 13.07.2014).

A pub offering a god selection of real ales on handpump, several interesting keg beers and a good bottle selection ranging from new London micros to Belgain trappists. I still not seen their own beer on sale. A good venue to pick up new London breweries.

We visited here on Sunday 20th April 2014. This was about 10 mins on from The Kings Arms, Bethnal Green. This provided a welcome break from the incessant rain and was a friendly, welcoming, warm and well worn pub, in fact having a few of the attributes that the Kings Arms could do with to improve it. Beer choice was good, I had a Pressure Drop Wu something wheat beer, Loz had a Rocky Head IPA. The decor was a little random a full size set of traffic lights on a wall to our left shone green throughout, though as we were sat near a mixing DJ desk maybe this area was a little lively at night. It seemed quite a large pub though I have to confess to not really exploring as we just wanted to dry out and get warm. We accessed the pub via an alley called Seabright Passage as I recall. I have to say whilst not my favourite pub of the weekend it was warm and friendly and certainly should be considered on a Bethnal Green, Shoreditch, Hackney walk-bus crawl.

A decent sized pub. Burgers are the craze here. They are solid but nothing amazing and they are £9-10. Not the cheapest. Beer range is quite good. They do their own beer as well. Service is ok depending who you get. Can be a bit hit and miss. Solid place

The burgers are the number one reason to visit this place and they are immense and the Chilli fries, amazing.
That being said the beers are not at all bad and you wont be too disappointed or short of choice.

Great pub tucked away on an alley off Hackney Road. Not much to look at from the outside, a couple of deck tables, but who cares, just get in there. The emphasis is on London micros, and Iíve had great pints of Redemption and Brodies beers here. Also Kernel and Redchurch bottles in the fridge. Oh and another thing...Lucky Chip has taken over the kitchen, meaning you can get seriously good burgers here. You wonít be disappointed. Highly recommended.
