This place was walking distance from our hotel, with a petrol station at the halfway point that actually had a decent selection of South African ciders and a few local beers, including light and non-alcoholic variants. But I digress. This place actually had a good atmosphere, decent food, and Windhoek. Nice place to hang out or have a meal.

Admitted, no craft beer is served here, but places to suck back a few beers in a relaxt atmosphere are few in this part of Africa (unless you are in an overpriced safari lodge). This is a beer gardens et around a small pool, with a few pool tables outside and a pub inside. Plenty of screens to watch the football. The crowd is mostly local, with some expats or business travellers. Everybody is very laid back and leaves you be. Food is pretty good. Had the fish cakes and Kariba crayfish tails. Very taste and every thing is quite cheap. Beers are usual African suspects, with some options. Steered clear from the draughts though.
