72 Big place. Crowded when I visited with MatSciGuy and some of his coworkers. Friendly, efficient staff. Solid selections. A bit pricy. Worthy stop. |
76 The brewery is a little hard to find; I didn’t have trouble with it per se but others in my party did. My GPS had me turn onto Polk street from 18th Ave. NE, and there’s a "Dead End" sign at the beginning of Polk St. When you get to the end of Polk, there’s a gate with a driveway going into a large, mostly empty parking lot. It seems like you’re in the wrong place, but you’re not, as when you look to the left there’s Sociable, tucked into one side of the parking lot. The interior is cozy, with the bar to the left. Reminds me a little bit of Indeed when it first opened. Seating is somewhat limited, literally. There is more bar and table space than chairs to sit at them, which is an easy fix I hope they rectify. Four cider-beer hybrids, 3 beers and one hot mulled cider. All excellent. The fact that they brew all of their ciders with malt gives a unique, and welcome, backbone that sets them apart from many of the other ciders available on the market. I was particularly impressed with the Hoppy Pale and grapefruit IPA, so it is clear they do both the ciders and the beers really well. |

48 In a former school or something the ambiance here is lacking. Nice large tables that are somewhat obnoxious. Low ceilings make it feel crammed. Large outdoor area but its not really set-up for anything. Just a sidewalk. The cider and beers are average to very bad. Nothing special about this place. |
72 An old warehouse re-purposed to function as a brewery/cidery. A bar right in front of the actual brewing area with seating off to the right. Somewhat of a rustic feel. Service was fine and bartenders were knowledgeable about the product. 5 ciders/graffs on and 5 beers as well. Samplers of ciders or beers available. Prices are inline with other area tap rooms. A food truck on site. A decent spot. |
52 Have to agree this place was hard to find, not exactly on Fillmore. Located in a gated industrial park. What a horrid location. Smell was a little overwhelming at first. More beer than Cider? Beer was pretty bad, cider was alright. They need to focus more on cider. |
30 Stopped in after hitting indeed. Located in a small warehouse area that was pretty tough to find. They’re not going to get much foot traffic here, as it’s really far off from anything else. Might be a popular neighborhood stop, though. Had a couple of the beers and a couple ciders, and was very unimpressed. The beer was awful and the cider was marginally better. They have been in operation for a very short time, and their credit card scanner wasn’t working. They have a long way to go still. |
68 Neat place. Apparently an old fabric warehouse. Long bar in front of the fermenters and taps. Friendly staff, believe it was two 2 owners and the brewer. Place was pretty busy at 3pm on Saturday but in addition to the bar there are several large round tables and another bank of tables to sit at. The place is pretty cool and I am interested to see it in the summer. The one thing I was disappointed in is that as what I thought was a cider place turned out to be more beer focued than cider with only 1 cider on tap and about 5 beers. Strange. |
56 Nice new spot! Cool laid back vibe in this industrial space. Friendly people. Flights of 4 for $7 - like this. Beers are not terribly good, but once in a while they have a decent one. Had 1 cider, which was quite good.
Re-rate: knocking down a peg because they stop doing flights at 4 pm on Saturdays. Not sure about other days. But that’s just lazy and driven by their convenience vs customer wants. I can’t get behind that. And the beers are getting consistently mediocre to not good. |
66 Small place in an old warehouse/industrial type building. Rustic, industrial interior. Packed on Friday night. One cider and several beers. Very busy. Only one cider available right now, and four beers. Strong smell of fermenting apple juice immediately upon entry and it is not a great smell, but we quickly got used to it. |
