Visited a Saturday night for a couple of beers. 20 beers on tap, about 50 - 60 bottles beers, all in good condition. Good, fast service from the bar. Non-smoking, thank you! Excellent location facing the lakes - a neat place during summertime when you can sit outside and gaze at the ducks and the passers-by. Inside the basement there is exposed brick walls and rustic tables and benches like the sister bar Ørsteds Ølbar. Also an excellent place to watch football. A welcome addition to my neighborhood Østerbro otherwise dominated by conformist coffee shops. I am a regular!

Really like Søernes bar, and prefer this over the sister (Ørsted Ølbar) mostly due to the great location, with the outside seating overlooking the lakes, and the additional taps on offer. Good selection of bottles as well. Relaxed and cosy interior, great beer, knowledgeable and friendly service. Thoroughly recommended.

(Visited July 2013) Nice and friendly beer bar located at the northern end of the lakes in the centre of Copenhagen. The bar is in the basement, and the interior is mainly in brown wood, quite airy though. Some tables and chairs outside, with views over the lake. Very good selection of draught beers, 20 taps of quality beers from micros from Denmark, the US and other countries. A couple of Amager, Evil Twin and Against the Grain on my visits, by the turnover seems to be quite good. good selection of bottled beers. Friendly and efficient service. The bar is twinned with Örsted Ölbar, so it reminds a bit of that one, but feels more laid back (possibly due to the lack of sports TV). It’s a bit of a detour but could be accessed via train to Österport station, a couple of buses or by foot (it’s not too far from Nörrebro Bryghus and Ölbaren). A great addition to the Copenhagen beer scene. Will be back.

Anbefales.

Cozy, comfortable place giving a bit of charm to a rather sleek, boring and in some areas also charmless neighbourhood (no offense if you live at Østerbro). Owned by the same cool guy, Kim, who also is the mastermind behind Ørsted Bar. 20 taps, all of high standard, but selection is not that different from Fermentoren, Ørsted og Bryggens Ølbar. Nice place to watch a soccer match on tv.

Nice beer bar located not far from østerport station and trianglen, by the "sortedams sø", on the shadowy side in the afternoon. Tables outside with sea view, spacy indooers , music was laid back rock when I was there, taps had local beer and a few foreign, all good stuff, the place is new, but held in a style that is much more bar like than some of the more cafe like bars here and there. Several busses frequent tranglen, which is only a few minutes walk away so getting there should be very easy.

This place really shines in the summer time when you can sit outside by the lake. I went here before a concert in Parken, and it was an excellent place to warm up for an event there. It’s fairly close by, and probably won’t attract the sort of crowd that normally goes to the football matches held in Parken, so I will likely be back here again. The interior is cozy and fairly spacious. The furniture is very similar to that at its’ sister bar Ørsted Ølbar. They have 20 taps with a good mix of styles and some solid beers. The prices are much the same as in the rest of Copenhagen.

Bottle list not enormous but of high quality.

Visited on June 13, 2013.
Fairly dark cellar location with seating at the bar or some tables.
20 taps sporting mainly Danish craft brews, but some imports as well.
Nice service from the girl working the bar, though our first order got a bit mixed up.
Dim lighting and candle lights makes rating beer apperance a bit of a challenge, but other than that a nice place to relax for a few beers.
Did fill up later in the evening but before that fairly relaxed and easy to sit and chat with your friends.
Did not eat, not sure I saw anyone eat, also didn’t check the bottled selection on this visit.
We wlakeddown from my friends place, so not sure as to how easy it is to get to by public transportation. Didn’t really see any parking around where we walked.
Had it not been raining the outdoor seating overlooking the water would have been a nice spot.
The other guests I spoke to very all nice and friendly and happy to see visitors finding their local hangout.
Not a very cheap place to go, but nice that most (all?) draught beers came in two sizes, making it easy to sample a couple of different ones without too much of a volume to drink in the end.

This place is a most welcome addition to the craft beer selection in the Østerbro borough of Copenhagen, which used to be somewhat of a desert. An offshoot of the already cosy and interesting Ørsted Ølbar this place offers 20 taps a good amount of bottles and a great, summer location on the banks of the central Copenhagen lakes with the possibility of outdoor seating and a view to the passing runners, bicyclists and pram strollers. The beer selection is great and varied and the staff behind the beer generally very knowledgeable about the beer they serve. I had a Blueberry Stout recommended to my girlfriend, which turned out to knock my shoes off tastewise. I once had the staff get back to me on an email inquiry about when they would get a fresh batch of a particular seasonal beer with detailed information about how much was left in the old keg. Now that is service. To sum it up Søernes Ølbar is THE go-to beer bar in the Copenhagen borough of Østerbro and it gives all the other local beer places in Copenhagen a fair run for their money. I would put this place on par with Fermentoren and probably even a notch above due to my preference for the Østerbro experience.
