Wow! What a surprise. With under 5 minutes to go before my return trip to Brussels I found this beauty. Scored 5 beers for very cheap - and the Eurostar allows liquids. Selection is very good. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Located towards the East Midlands Railway end of the St Pancras complex on the basement level. Upmarket gourmet food and drink emporia with sit down option. Taken in context - at a main railway station - this place offers a great selection of London area micro brews and prices (again for a mainline station) are reasonable. Service was good, I was offered help whilst browsing, tho’ turned the offer down so can’t comment on staff knowledge! Well worth popping to if you ever head under the chunnel or to the East Midlands. Only gripe ... It doesn’t open in time for the first Brussels departure on a Saturday morning (0757) !!!

Upmarket gourmet food shop in St Pancreas. Good range of British beers most notably Kernels, Beaverton and Camden from London. Some really good cheeses and high end foodstuffs. Always drop by if I’m passing through the station. Not really somewhere I would stop and sit down in though as the tables next to the concourse aren’t very enticing.

Specialist food store in St Pancras, basically a very superior shop selling a variety of nice and slightly overpriced foods. Conveniently they also have a reasonable sized wine and beer section, and the beer selection is pretty big for a train station (not quite destination sized, but more than good enough if you’re passing through) and actually quite well chosen. Good presence of the smaller London breweries.

Handily located in St Pancras station (at the far end, near the UK ticket office), Sourced Market sells coffee, fruit and vegetables and good quality bread, cheeses, meats and other deli-type produce. It also has a few fridges and shelves stocked with a range of interesting beers. Well worth a look. (Visited 16 July 2012).

Sourced has a solid range of beers available on offer. Local breweries are strongly represented, and most visitors should find quite a few interesting things to try. There are something like 40 bottles available from the likes of Beavertown, By The Horns, and The Kernel. A couple of Kernel beers that were on sale had only been premiered a week earlier, so they do get fresh product. The service is fine, the prices not too bad. Overall, this place is definitely worth a look. Recommended.

A surprisingly nice selection of beers in a very convenient location - especially if you’re hopping on a train. They usually have a good range of beers from The Kernel, in addition to other random UK beers and a handful of imports. Good prices. You can drink there or take away. There is also a decent array of food products. Given the good selection highlighted by The Kernel, this place is probably worth visiting even if you aren’t in the station to travel.

I was there to find some Kernels to take home, but they were all sold out. Too bad. I asked for them and the ladies were really helpful, but the beers were only be supplied next week (by Utobeer btw). It’s on the international train station, so for what you can make of the ambiance, they did a good job I suppose. Small selection of some English and the occasional Belgian and American beer. I like the setup, together with nice cheese, sausage, soup, bread, etc. Score of the place might not be that high, but it’s basicly all you can ask for in such a place.

Not a whole lot to choose from, but a few for the train or plane ride home. Prices are rather high.

Small specialist beer store / delicatessen on the lower level of Paddington Station. Reasonable selection of interesting British beers. Worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.
