Visited 2/10/2013 after the Triple Rock Sour Fest.

Last stop of the night after hitting a lot of other places, so admittedly I was a bit burned out, but I was hungry and eager to tick some interesting beers (Smoked ginger saison, Belgian oyster stout, and chocolate habanero dubbel).

The place has a western theme going on with lots of whiskey, old western type of decorations, and BBQ. The food was pretty good but the sides were better than the BBQ. The cheese grits were very good. The service was very nice.

Didnt look much at the guest beers, just got a flight of the house beers. All three were interesting and surprisingly not bad despite the name/description. I was actually surprised by the size of the brew system, guessing 5 or 7 bbl.

I’ll stop back in again when in that neighborhood as I’ve recently discovered a good number of beer stops in that neighborhood.

More of a restaurant and cocktail bar. But don’t think magaritas when I say cocktail.... think prohibition hard to find bourbons and etc... Their beer selection is not massive but is pretty good, they had their own pale ale when I visited which wasn’t bad. Place itself is pretty nice again with nice people and and amazing spirits selection. The barman Edward is very friendly and very very knowledgable about any drink but also any bar in San Francisco. The food is also very very good.

A nice open restaurant that I visited both times I was in SF recently. Great BBQ available (it’s really more of a restaurant than a beer destination) with the pulled pork my favourite. However, they do have two fermentors in the place that they use to keep a rotating series of house brews on tap. They tend to the seasonal - but are pretty well-constructed (and at 4 bucks during happy hour a hell of a deal). About a dozen taps in total - all craft is also good to see. There are some great happy hour specials for both drinks and food. A fantastic bourbon/rye selection if that’s your thing as well. Well worth a quick pop-in when your prowling around The Mission.
