Excellent place, lots of choice with decent prices. I could spend ages in there browsing. Krishnan is a really friendly guy and knowledgable. An excellent experience, if only I was rich, I would have took a trolley full.

Reseved some beers via Twitter and was welcomed into the shop by friendly owner Kris. He’s very knowledgeable and personable and this level of service makes you want to stay for longer. The sourdoug. Ciderbread on the counter smelt fantastic, wish I had space for some. Selection good for suburban shop but difficult to compete with larger competitor nearby in terms of space available. There are different beers at each though so please do visit both!I came away with a good selection of beers and a lighter wallet.

Really impressed with this place. Introduced myself (as I’d phoned to make sure they still had something I wanted) and low and behold a bottle of Fantom BBBOOO was produced for me. I was then left alone to wander around and choose what I fancied as I went through my list of beers I would have liked. Interesting and changing selection: certainly the most I’ve seen in the UK before, both international and British. I had a good chat with Krishnan? He has good knowledge and is very keen on his beers. Asking me to phone him if I wanted something I couldn’t get elsewhere and he’d try and get some for me. The prices are not cheap, but we are talking about good quality beers difficult to find in the UK, so no big problem, just make sure you have a budget before setting foot inside or you could have a huge whole in your plastic or wallet.

Long-standing bottled beer shop with a very keen owner who over the past few years has striven to bring new beers to Birmingham - both English/Scottish ales, and those from US and Europe. Has always had a good selection of Belgians, but now also a large Brewdog range, US, and the forefront of the European craft scene - Mikkeller, To Ol, Nogne, etc. Good selection of spirits also including Japanese whiskeys. On the 45 and 47 bus route from centre of town. Also sells locally-made beer bread (the ale used changes each week) on Thursdays.

An oasis in the middle of a very barren desert! An excellent selection of hard-to-find, top rated American ales. A good range of Belgian/Dutch beers too. What is particularly interesting is the wide choice of locally brewed English ales, particularly those from Two Towers, Sadlers and Beowulf. Nice range of Brewdog’s too. The English beers are very reasonably priced. Yes, the American beers can be pricey, but that’s expected for 99 rated beers that have crossed the atlantic. I will return.

This is a belting, friendly off licence on a busy road, there is a large assortment of beers with American, Belgian and UK beers to the fore. It is popular meaning that the beers must turn over quite regularly, it did stretch the credit card somewhat though. This is a top notch bottle shop, well worth the trip over.

Yep, I’m super lucky to have this as a local. For a man who drinks little beer, the owner is highly knowledgeable and passionate about the drinks he sells. He is friendly, engaging and will get in anything you ask for that he can. They even sell excellent locally made beer bread. Superb.
