Visited a year ago, a growing brewery with a great vibe in the tap room, can’t wait to see what they do next!

This is a pretty awesome place... they have garage doors so they can air the place out in nice weather (i’m assuming). Tables... good bar area... and a nice tour. They had 6 beer son tap... is this california (aka 14 beers per brewer... no... but we are in alabama... awesome!). Dan and company glad to talk beer.

Taproom located at the brewery, which is a first for Huntsville and one of only a few brewery taprooms in Alabama at this time. Six taps running; three with year-round regulars, three seasonal/specials. The staff was great; friendly and wanting to talk about their beer. They even threw together a free impromptu brewery tour as the crowd grew on the evening I was there. These guys have some great beer and many new things coming soon (17 barrels aging in the back, canning line coming soon, homebrewer collaborations). I have a feeling that as word spreads about this taproom that they will quickly outgrow this space.

A taproom located in a warehouse. There’s not a sign yet from the street so you have to turn in when you see the fitness center. Not a big place. they had room for a bar with 6-7 stools and 4 tables, but it was pretty packed when we went Friday Night. What’s historic about this place is that it’s the first tap room in the area since prohibition. They had 4 beers on tap a couple of standard of beers and a couple of seasonals. Everyone seemed really friendly, so friendly in fact the brewer decided to host an impromptu tour of the brewery which was really cool. I;ve never been on a brewery tour with a pint of beer in my hand. This place has some big ambitions, such as packaging in cans, and I hope they’re the start of a burgeoning craft beer movement in Alabama.
