In an industrial lot. Nice open aired spot, window above the bar where you can look in at the brewery. The beers are a little expensive for WI (4.75 a pint, 6.00 or so for snifter pours of bigger stuff). No happy hour. Mediocre beers for the most part, though there are some hidden gems here and there, the Toil and Trouble being one of them. Worth a stop.

Not easily accessible, place doesnt really stand out either. The "recycled" bar and lights are great but the place overall feels and looks ’unfinished’. Comfy bar stools. The place lacks an atmosphere. They are a newer brewpub yet so Im looking forward to see how they develop. Beers are solid, imaginative, and clearly made with passion, but a little rough around the edges compared to other more established places.

As previously mentioned, it is a little off the beaten path. I visited on a weekend night during March Madness. There was a fairly large crowd that night, but most of them were there for a private birthday party. There were several seats available at the bar. They have quite a few of their beers on draft, which were all good. There are several hold-overs from the Grumpy Troll days including Jorge, which kicked while we were there (it was very popular). The staff was friendly. We had fun watching the first weekend of March Madness, including a last second Marquette victory. Overall, a pretty cool place to visit, despite being a little hard to find.

You will probably get lost trying to find this place; particularly in snow. Trust their website and not Google or Apple maps. Fun space for watching football and having several beers. Huge tap list of their own beers plus a couple guests. Brewer was tending bar. Couldn’t ask for much more. One of the more impressive red ales I’ve had.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Greeted by Mark as we approached the bar. Got the chance to talk with him in between him helping other customers. Very open feel to the place, lots of room to get comfortable. 9 of their own offerings on tap with two or three local guest taps. This man brews some unique beers! Menu was limited but a decent value and the food was solid. A flight, 2 pints and 2 sandwiches for under $30! A bit off the beaten path but worth the drive.

Stopped in this past Sunday around 1 pm and the place was empty. That was cool though because Mark came over and talked to us for about 15 minutes or so, sounds like he has some pretty cool things planned in the next few months. The place has a nice feel and there is plenty of seating, beer is priced well. Worth the stop for sure.

Have stopped a number of times. A bit off the beaten path, but worth seeking out. Nice feel on inside, nice bar area. Mark always up for talking about what’s all going on. Quality brews with increasing selection now that they can brew on premise. Wish these guys the best and hopefully a solid new brewery for the state.

Great new place in Wisco with a legendary brewer from the neighborhood. All six beers were high quality. I can’t wait until they start brewing even more offerings. Owners were super friendly and talked us through their entire process of becoming a brewery. Great people. Great beer. Can’t wait to try the food.

Tucked away in an industrial park not too far from the lakeside in Oconomowoc. Cool thing was, even though it was an industrial area, the brewpub’s windows look out into a forested area.
6 house beers on tap when we went, with 2 guest taps (Central Waters and Furthermore). My wife and I enjoyed all of their beers, there was a nice range going on -- jalapeno, ginger hefeweizen, rye, wild buckwheat, red, and stout. The jalapeno was amazingly good -- I’ve had a few in the past, and they tended to burn a bit much by the end of a pint -- not the case here, very well balanced. The wild buckwheat beer is also stellar.
Owners were working the bar and very approachable and friendly. Atmosphere was nice and mellow, as well. Didn’t have a chance to try any food, but they did have a good selection of small plates (cheeses, tacos, edamame, etc.).
Definitely look forward to putting this into my regular WI road trip rotation.

Industrial park brewpub, my visit came just before they got their brewers permit. A big open place with a row of locals sitting along the bar watching the sad Brewers lose yet another game on my visit. The sampler was reasonably priced and the part-owner talked to me a few times to get my impression of the place. I forgot to ask, “Why Sweet Mullets?” as the name disturbs me with the bad 80’s hair reference. There was some food and they had some interesting beer-cheese pairings on the menu. Four house beers and four guest taps though I was told they’d be expanding but keeping the guest taps. My grandparents has a house on Lac La Belle so I get to reminisce a bit when I come here.
