Great System not far from central station. Very friendly service. Great selection with many specials esp. from US. Got 2 smuttynose and 1 Terrapin. Could only carry 9 beers but could have bought at least 30. Long opening hours regarding a System.

At the back of the Hansa supermarket you will find this place. The selection of bottled beers is quite impressive although the prices differ quite a good deal. Their website is good and constantly updated so you have a good chance to prepare yourself in advance. Some of the beers are difficult to find but the staff is quickl to spot if you are searching something and eager to assist you.

I’ve been to a few Systembolaget stores in Sweden and I have to say that this one is simply the best The selection of beers from Scandinavia and the rest of the world is truly amazing. The prices are special too. I can buy English beers here for less than I would pay in the UK! Systembolaget rules! Especially this one :-)

Obviously the best place in Malmö (or pretty much southern Sweden) to buy beer since they get all the small releases. Other than that, it’s just a Systembolaget store. Staff is very helpful though!

I have little idea how to rate such a place. Ambiance is nil. Service means someone ringing up your beers. they had a surprisingly nice selection, though. Not as many Swedish micros as I hoped for, but there were several, and pretty good spread of imports as well. If you are visiting from CHP as we were, worth a stop just to experience the world of Swedish government bullsh*t. Bought a couple beers as well, of course, including a Carnegie Porter, which I have been wanting to try since first reading M.J.

The selection obviously focuses heavily on Swedish beers with a mix of micro and macro. The shelf reserved for beers that change regularly was almost looted at my visit, but the standard selection holds some interesting local and foreign beer, making it worth the look around, when I came to pick up my order from their webshop. The staff was nice and helpful in collectiong my order, but it took almost an hour to buy approx. 120 beers, which is much too slow. Even though I had allowed for more than the required eight working days in processing the order, some of the most interestting beers were missing, but that falls back on the web shop rather than the store.
I have tried the highest rated Systembolags in Malmö, Göteborg and Stockholm, and apart from a little local variation, they are pretty much the same. They are not very inspiring, but they are your only chance of leaving Sweden with even somewhat interesting bottles.
