Taps 25 is a smallish bar with a big selection. They have been putting on really nice events lately either pairing up with breweries, local restaurants or both. I would frequent more often if it was a bit closer.

I believe this could be the first attempt at a true craft beer bar in Lansing. The bar is located downtown near the minor league baseball park on the same block as a sports bar and another bar called the Tin Can that calls itself the Walmart of bars. Taps 25 has a traditional, narrow, old-fashioned "shotgun" layout and, most importantly, has more than 25 brews on tap. It offers few choices for the BMC crowd; almost all taps are dedicate to good beers. It is no nonsense, beer and liquor. This is a drinking bar . . . they offer only a few appetizers.
