78 Really cool spot, and in my opinion, eclipses for Bottle Revolution. Extensive bottle selection, logically organized by state and country, including a decent cider and mead selection. There's a bar at the back where you can get single samplers (4-5 oz) of ~10 beers for very cheap ($1-2). Very friendly and informative guy working the bar. Worth a stop, as it's almost adjacent to Crank Arm. |
72 It is a good bottleshop. Decent selection of local, regional, national, and international. Certainly worth a stop, though not world class by any means. |
66 The place is nice, and it’s not that the service is bad. I’ve been here a few times when they’ve posted on their FB page they just got something rare in. I show up an hour later and it’s gone, when I can see the same product sitting behind the counter. Come on? I get it, I’m not there every day, but I feel left out by Tasty. Still they pull in a great selection. Thumbs down for still carrying Wicked Weed, but I guess there aren’t many bottle shops who have gotten rid of them. Selection is good, lots of rare one offs, but space is limited. I came in once to find a rare out of State 6pack ONLY in the coolers. Not a problem, except the beer was a stout so aging it further was no longer an option. With a few minor tweaks this place could be great. |
94 Holy cow, I absolutely loved this place. Just a couple doors down from Crank Arm and across the street from Boxcar. Parking looked like it could be interesting on a weekend, but that’s why Uber and your two legs were invented. Bottle selection is the best I’ve seen in North Carolina, rivaling the shops in Asheville. U-shaped bar with a dozen seats. Taplist was small but interesting. The locals immediately adopted me when they found out I was on a beer trip and I got lots of great advice, and a few beers as well. Staff were terrific. Awesome place. |
86 Great selection and some good drafts. More Wicked Weed varieties than other places. |

84 Visited on a Saturday night after trying beers at the nearby Crank Arm Brewery. A bottle shop with a really nice selection of singles. They also had a really cool selection for the 6 beers that they had on tap at the time I visited. Definitely worth checking out this bottle shop when in downtown Raleigh. Prices seemed a touch high, but not unheard of for a bottle shop like this. |
