Very nice place. Large selection broken up by US and International, as well as NC brews. Nice growler station and good selection of glassware.

If Bruisn’ Ales is beer nirvana, than this is it’s triangle cousin. It hard to beer an old train depot in an old warehouse district for ambience. The deletion was extensive and deep with local, regional, national, and International craft covered. They also have a bar in the back so you can cruise around with a lint in your hand. They guys that work there are beyond passionate when it comes to beer. It’s places like this that make me wish I lived in Carolina sometimes.

I’ve only been here once. The staff was helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Was able to snag a cool beer that I would not have tried. Prices are a few % points higher but still acceptable. I hope to get back soon.

This is a really great place in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. The staff is very helpful, the selection is large, and the prices are as good, maybe a little better than most places. Highly recommended!

This is a great beer store. The people are quite friendly and helpful. The selection is quite nice, and organized very logically; they even have a local section of North Carolina brews on their own shelves. Great stuff. However, I have two complaints: 1. Not all of the beers they sell are available as singles. I go to stores like this specifically to buy singles, and if they’re not available as such, I won’t buy them. 2. They labels are awful. I like places where you can glance at the label on the shelf and know immediately what it is, where it’s from, and a description thereof. This place just has a hand-written labels. A tad annoying.

Rochefort 10 at $6.69 is reason enough to stop here, but the fact that you can request any of their bottles that are broken out of six packs to be chilled and quaffed at the bar for the same price is flat out ridiculous. I would compare this place to the Beer Cafe in SF, except Tasty has no corkage fee.I was very impressed by the number of regulars even though this place has not yet been open for a year. The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, especially a guy named Critter.

A near perfect beer establishment...what’s wrong with it...really nothing...i only didn’t give it a perfect score because at least somewhere has to be better right? In an old train depot it has atmosphere like no bear store i’ve been in. The ~6 seat bar allows you to drink some amazing NC and other (Epic Biscotti Break for me) stuff while you shop. The selection from all countries is extremely broad and deep more so than any store i can think of though others might have more rare (Healthy) or deep of a kind (Belgians at State Line) theirs is the most well rounded I can think of. Prices were very reasonable (at least for a New Yorker) and the staff so helpful in picking out rarer local stuff I wouldn’t have known about or can’t get distributed in NYC. They were generally interested and eager to talk beer And they gave a great restaurant rec (Pool’s around the corner.

I recently visited Tasty Beverage Co. and have to agree with anyone that proclaims this one of the finest beer stores anywhere. The setting is really cool at the Raleigh Depot in downtown Raleigh. The staff was friendly and greeted me soon after entering the store and offerred their help. The selection was incredible; I am sure that I walked through each rack at least 4 times just to take it all in. Prices were comparable to other stores I have visited in the area. Overall, one of the finest stores anywhere and certainly a must visit if you are in or near Raleigh.
