74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 womencantsail (390) Garbage Grove, California | November 15, 2012 Stopped in here before heading to Beachwood since I drive past this place every time, but have never gone. Draft list is pretty decent, mostly Belgian and German imports, but a handful of US micros, too. Good service, nice little place. Didn’t eat, but the pizzas looked good. A nice place, but hard to justify going with Beachwood just down the street. | 54 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 BMan1113VR (306) Los Angeles, California | June 23, 2011 Stopped in once or twice before. Was not expecting this to be listed on the site. Food looked good, but I didn’t try it. Parking is typical for Seal Beach. Beer selection was somewhat generic for a gastropub to be frank about it. Seems like they were leaning towards German and Belgian styles. With Beachwood down the street, its hard to justify going to this place. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 auderale (67) Bitburg, Germany | May 14, 2008 Stopped by here after finding out the Beachwood BBQ wasn’t open yet. Decent selection, food looked good, but a bit pricy in my opinion. The service was excellent, but it wasn’t too crowded either. Worth the visit. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 buck (11) Seal Beach, California | December 17, 2005 A friendly, neighborhood place specializing in Belgian beer with a dozen taps. Other than Coors Light, all are excellent choices. Limited taps mean that the beer is always fresh. Brick oven pizza is a specialty. |
