94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 davidm (52) Melbourne, Australia | January 10, 2013 Fantastic place. The beer selection is great, they rotate frequently, so you always have new stuff to try, love it. They have great 12 taps, and a small selection of the best beers to try. The service is great, they will go out of the way to get a cup of tea for my wife. The ambiance is very good too... I always enjoy the music. Finally, very tasty food, look out for the vegetable chips. | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 nate2g (443) Boomtown! / Waikato, New Zealand | August 11, 2012 Still early days for this new Lygon St. beer bar. I’ve visited numerous times as staying close by. Solid tap selection from different Aussie micros, but slow turnover at this stage. It was busy on a Saturday night though. One complaint was they had a singing dude right next to the bar belting out tunes meaning you couldn’t even hear yourself think to decide the next beer. Actually it was so loud in the bar we just left. Not cool. There’s now a kitchen serving food. A good addition to the area, with Temple Brewing just around the corner. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 bigbeerlover (1) North Melbourne, Australia | July 29, 2012 I like the feel of this place, and the fact they are supporting a lot of smaller local craft breweries. The highlight for me was some Emerson’s on tap, Mornington Peninsula Imperial Stout and about three decent IPA’s mean its gonna be a place to visit regularly for me. |
