Not difficult to find. Parking was a little bit of a challenge. I like the newer place. More room to sit. Easier to access beers in coolers. Found several beers I’ve been looking for on my visit. I will go back again and hopefully, get something to eat.

I stop in here often when working in the area. A great place if you can find a seat. Usually packed when school is going. Taps are usually good and there are always unique brews in the coolers............................................................. Review of new Bier Stein on Willamette Street - Wow!!! Plenty of seating and room to move around. Clean and modern without losing the charm of the old place. Lots of new taps. Very impressed. New score of 90.

A great place to buy all sorts of bottled beer (local, regional, national, and international). The bar always has a great selection of beers on tap, and the workers are happy to give free tasters. The patrons seem to be devout locals, and you can’t help but feel like you are being judged by their hazy eyes.

College town. Quite the distance from Portland. Nice drive, though. Open space. As you walk in there are chairs to the left, and couple of bar stools to the right, where, you guessed it, the taps are located. Some bottles are strewn across the left-hand wall, so if there are people sitting there, it makes it a little awkward to go look. Anyways, Bottles are also located in coolers along the back, right-hand side of this joint. Nice selection of foreign shit, and a relatively decent select of domestic shit, too. I can’t say that this place blew my mind, but I will say that they had some surprises, none of which I purchased. Prices were a little high, actually. Tap list was solid. Overall, an enjoyable experience, if you were to go here first, but if you’ve already been to Belmont Station and John’s, don’t expect to be blown away. Cheers. Rumor is they’re moving, too.

Incredible jewel of a bottle shop located right off U of Oregon’s campus. Nice bar at the entrance with a phenomenal selection of local rotating handles. Refer’s in the back stock a plethora of 12oz and 22oz singles - lots of west coast selections featuring small-time Oregon breweries with a nice range of northern to southern California mainstays (Green Flash, AleSmith, etc) that are rare finds in my area. Staff was not overly friendly but they were pretty busy so Ill give them a pass on that. Did not have time to sample the restaurant but it smelled fantastic and I saw a few thick hot sandwiches making their way to different tables. Everything looked clean and the decor was sharp.

Great selection, great food, knowledgeable staff and typically, good crowd, at least the ones at the bar. Selection is pretty good, even for someone like me from NY, but add the Eugene-type service, and you have a winner. This is one place that I would love to come back.

This place is heaven. Eugene residents, you have the best nugget of Paradise I’ve ever been to. Amazing bottle selection, amazing draft selection and one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I wish all beer stores were like this place.

This place is tremendous. The tap selection is well thought out and quite tasty. Firestone Walker Double Jack was phenomenal on draft. Bottle selection is killer as well - can’t really ask for more. Staff was really friendly and helpful, although it is generally "self service" - order at the counter and they bring you food, etc. Ambiance is nice - quaint size, good beer decor, music wasn’t too loud, etc. Pretty much beer nirvana. Food was great too - I expected typical pub fare, but it is much much better. Dishes were very tasty - hummus was really good, my pannini was excellent, fresh salad that was crisp and healthy. If I lived in Eugene, I would be there all the time... I give this place very high marks, and I would put this up against (and prefer it to) Monk’s Cafe, Toronado, HopCat, etc. I love all of those places, but this is really a well done pub/store.

The Bier Stein in Eugene was a shock for me. I was not sure what to expect but it certainly was not what I saw. Tons of awesome barley pop awesomeness. This is one great place. Loved the bottle selection over 800 with tons I had never seen. The tap selection was also off the hook. Great food, beer and taps I was just wishing I could have slept there. Right off the campus I bet the college kids who appreciate beer love this place.

Very cool laid back shop/cafe with tons of bottles and an interesting draft list. Friendly bar staff. Wish I could have stayed longer.
