What a bummer. This place still carries a high cumulative score from the three older reviews. Donít let that fool you. Basically on the corner, simple bar and seating around, bathrooms in back. Full bar, but it looked to be pretty limited selection. They may theoretically have 16 taps, but maybe 12 were operational, and included a few devoted to macro stuff. The craft beers were nothing special at all, a mix of locals and common nationally distributed stuff. Very disappointing based on previous reviews. They also had six (6) bottles, three of which were macro and the other three were boring. Prices were reasonable ($5 pints), and the service was good, but otherwise not a place I would recommend to any beer lover.

Hmm... not sure what to say about this place. They have been evicted from their downtown location (not their fault) and are now near Blue Stallion Brewery. I found street parking easily but it was early. Their Facebook page has not been updated and the phone # listed here was incorrect, but I did call it and the person on the other end, a former co-owner, was helpful, telling me the new location and several suggestions of places to hit in town. The place itself seems bright, open and comfortable. Several taps were empty but those that were there were solid stuff. Good prices. I take it the owner was bartending and he was helpful and friendly. Some construction on the place was happening out front. Iíd like to see these guys when theyíre firing on all cylinders.

Came here after Country Boy closed and in all honesty I was pretty lit when we arrived. However, we stayed for a pint or two more and I was impressed with the place. It was a Monday night so not very packed. Lotís of top-notch beers on- I had the DFH 90. The barkeeper was real friendly and since it was slow he was able to have a conversation with us. Iím sure this place gets packed on the weekends or when UK isnít on a holiday break but I will be back next time Iím in Lexington.

Stopped by on my way through Lexington completely randomly. A nice little spot on a corner near the downtown, some outdoor seating I took advantage of on a beautiful summer night. A bunch of stuff I hadnít seen on tap, Great Lakes, Founders, some good stuff. Bartender recommended a great place to get some dinner, overall a great experience for what I was expecting to be a Bud Light town.

We were here at about 9:30 pm on a Tuesday. The Chase was the only bar we saw downtown that was open. The ambiance is quaint and inviting. There was a small party of college kids in the corner that was controlling the jukebox, but after they left the music improved greatly which brought the ambiance of the place full circle. The tap list is very impressive, Iíd be amazed if anyone else in town could even compete. Founders, Great Lakes, Three Floyds, Stone and many more were represented. They donít have a kitchen of their own but it seems like it is possible to get food from the restaurant next door during earlier hours. Iíll be back if Iím ever in the area again.
