Fairly average Spoons, ugly external building but busy inside.

Wetherspoon pub for all ages with slightly more modern decor than the classic style of Spoons. The usual range of beer and ales with two rows of hand pumps. The downstairs area is both quiet and out of the way so it can either be peaceful or make you feel like a loner as everyone has to pass to get to the toilets.

Wetherspoons has a bit of a reputation - but this one is alright on most days. Lots of areas, including a quieter downstairs bit, and a family dining bit. Plenty of decent real ales on handpull and all at a reasonable cost. You can even get a decent enough bite to eat. Not restaurant quality, but far and above a packet of pork scratchings. Avoid on match days though.
