Despite the not very masculine name, this is a very cool pub. 3 levels, very casual feel and 3 casks. We had apps that were very tasty. Ambiance is casual and the decor is authentic. Beer selection (taps) was limited but the casks were in top shape.

The Dandelion pub is the best place to go for British fare. A pint of bitter and traditional bangers and mash. They offer a few beers on hand pump and a nice selection on tap. The place looks amazing and it feels like an english pub.

Dandelion Pub is supposed to be an authentic British pub - I can’t speak for its authenticity but it is a fun place to hang out and get a good beer and good food regardless. Very nicely decorated on the inside with mismatched antique looking furniture and nice fireplaces. Each floor has a few nooks so you don’t feel on top of other parties while you eat. The food is very tasty. I’ve personally had the roast beef sandwich and possible the best fish ’n chips I’ve ever eaten. Possibly a tad pricey but this is really more of a good restaurant with beer than it is a beer bar. Beer selection is good but certainly unremarkable in Philly. The three rotating authentic British casks always on tap are a nice plus but there’s nothing super rare here.

Excellent beer selection with several names I have never heard of or tried. A rotation of three beers on cask. Drawback -very pricey. A pint will run you $9 or more. Read more about our visit below. http://22ndandphilly.blogspot.com/2011/01/stephen-starr-goes-gastro-dandelion.html
