72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 Sledutah (207) Utah | April 14, 2012 Nice big bar facing a lineup of TV’s, with a huge tap list. Lots of seating in the bar area and restaurant. Big patio area. The place was busy, service at the bar was slow but friendly. The food was good. Only a few miles away from the Oakland airport. A nice place to stop, I’ll be back. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 joeneugs (88) Livermore, California | December 11, 2011 I’ve been here a few times with some friends before A’s games, but not recently. Just getting around to rating it. Nice location in downtown San Leandro with a nice patio. The inside is very dark with a classic British pub feel. Lot’s of great beer on tap, but nothing really all that interesting. The food and service are both good. I’d definitely put this in the old school bay area beer destination category. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 fidel (74) Livermore, California | July 12, 2008 Large tap list, a lot of common beers but also quit a few of my favs you can’t get to many other places. Lots of TV’s. They have everything on from baseball to euro soccer. Good pub grub. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 AgentSteve (77) SF Bay Area, California | November 17, 2007 Good atmosphere and selection. Service was OK, but they were quite crowded. Got zucchini sticks that were pretty good. Their winter beer selection was a little thin, though. Cool spot. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 Ibrew2or3 (300) Tempe, Arizona | October 27, 2007 Visited here as my last stop of my 2007 NorCal trip before driving off to the airport. Parking was spotty nearby. They have patio seating overlooking the parking lot. Inside is a long bar with a slough of flat panels showing numerous different sporting events. Wow, great place to catch a game. The tap list was long with maybe fifty beers. There was nothing that would cause a beer geek to get even mildly interested. But many of them are solid tasty craft brews that go very well with the food and sporting event being watched. The food wasn’t great but darn tasty. I will definitely hit this place (special trip) to catch a game and a solid craft beer. | 60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 10/20 Ratman197 (125) Arvada, Colorado | June 10, 2007 Roomy restraunt area was fairly weell lit with outdoor seating available. The service was about average, but when I walked to the bar the bartender was helpful and offered free samples. The selection of beers was good at about 100 taps but alot were beers that were readily available anywhere. The food was good but overpriced for what you get. Not a bad place but not worth a special trip. |
