In the suburb of Padgate this caters for a local crowd, but with two main rooms to sit in a cosy corner can be found. Shows the football which draws people in and sells the usual set of bland lagers. Last time I was in it also had ale from the now defunct Greenalls who’s brewing was taken over by the now defunct Tetley’s Brewery, so whether these ales will continue is up in the air.

Went on here on sat afternoon to watch the football, decent enough local pub with sky, good for watching football, rugby league and the like, friendly locals, just a bit of a trek for me to walk to
