The Mayor has a big hipster bar feel. 100 taps are nice and they get some cool beers rotating through. I think a place like Choice City gets better beers at much better prices though with only 38 or so taps. It feels like there is lots to try, but no real beer knowledge there. The food is good. It’s a limited menu provided by a local cafe, so it’s mostly sandwiches and breakfast foods. It’s tasty and reasonable portions (not monstrous, which I like). Update: I don’t go here any more due to they way they have treated some friends in the business. I’ve heard the food has changed too, so I changed that to NA. They do have a lot of beers with some interesting ones though.

I’d come here more if I didn’t feel like I was drinking on the set of Kardashian reality TV show. The place is uber-modern and has a TON of beers to choose from. The staff know a thing or two about beer, which helps with deciding. It can get expensive to really get your buzz on, but if you belong on that set with the Kardashians, then you’ve found a great place to drink!

100 taps, great selections with a mostly knowledgeable staff and quality service. Beers prices and pour sizes are reasonable I guess. The food is pretty good and affordable, especially the pizzas. Breakfast served all day, the biscuits and gravy are tasty! 100 taps is really all you need to know.

Visited this place while in Fort Collins over the holidays. It is my first time visiting this beer bar located near CSU. Around 100 beers on tap, all listed on the wall. Really nice selection, probably the best in town. I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of the atmosphere, but otherwise a cool new place I wish was around when I went to CSU.

Visited during the GABF, had Tap Takeover of Colorado breweries. 100 beers on tap, what’s more to say... Food was bad (pizza & soup) really not tasty. Still a must visit - Go for the beers.

Visited during the GABF with 100 northern Colorado beers on tap. That is just insane, out bartender she was awesome. Good food, great beer and a very knowledgeable staff.

Service was excellent! Free pizza on Fri afternoons. Knowledgable servers, water brought and refilled without asking. 100 Northern CO brews on tap today! Prices are as high as you would expect for really good beer. I would have liked more beer geek info on the beer list.

Now that they’ve been open a year, it’s time for a re-review. I no longer patronize the mayor. Over the last year or so, the quality of service has taken a dive. Last few trips in, it took nearly 20 minutes to get beer to the table. Considered ordering my next beer as the first was delivered. Servers make educated choices, but not great ones. Sometimes it’s downright impossible to flag a server down. Selection is still mostly good. Some breweries have gone missing, such as Russian River (there’s a story behind it.) Limited releases at the mayor are becoming more and more scarce. Crowd is less and less beer people, and more the frat pack crowd. Room is still terribly noisy, and any day of the week after work will require yelling to communicate. Still very much a sterile clean room, for better or worse. They do a good job keeping beer fresh and cool. Pricing is all over the place, but never truly unreasonable. No complaints in this department. The owner I simply can’t deal with. Between getting into playboy, and the aforementioned distribution issues, it seems that he has enough money to throw around that he won’t miss me. I still wish him the best. A lot of people still like this place.

This place is awesome, I only wish it had opened sooner. Too bad I only got to enjoy it for a little while. The selection is awesome and is constantly updated by a giant screen above the bar. The glassware here is unreal, with a different piece for every style. If you are in Fort Collins, this place is a MUST!
