Big converted warehouse right on the Thames and standing out by the river is what this pub is about really. Itís always busy when we go there, but this isnít about the beer, itís about being in the right place. Itís a task to get served quickly, taking skill and experience and the beers we had were not well kept, possibly most of the tourists choosing kegged well known brands. But everything improves once you get outside taking in the superb views.

After work drinks on a Friday here while the World Cup qualifier was on. God damn it was busy. Like fuckin busy. Solid range though. A few things to choose from which is good. Service was efficient and friendly for such an overwhelmingly busy period. Not bad at all

Occupying part of and sandwiched between commercial warehouse style buildings on the south bank of the Thames, you know youíre in the right place if you see the replica of the Golden Hind ship in its dry dock on the Thames path. The pubs terrace looks out onto this beautiful ship, but also across the river for a fantastic view of the city of London. This obviously gets full if the weather is nice. The pub is just a good a place to sit inside too with a mix of wooden and soft furnishings for a classic cosy feel. It is also spacious. As a Nicholsonís pub thereís a good choice of ales on offer too.

The Old Thameside Inn is a really cozy and old-style kind of pub situated just along the Thames. You have a marvellous view out on the river. It may be little bit crowded during lunch time but we enjoyed our visit there a lot. Nice Ales, also some special or / and seasonal ones. Just to recommend when you are on a walk beneath the Thames anyway.

Big place overlooking the Thames between London Bridge and Southwark Bridge. Long bar with about 8 real ales on tonight from around the UK. Busy with after-work drinkers in the front; towards the back thereís a restaurant area where we had a decent pub meal (typical pub fare: choice of pies, burgers, grills, etc). Considering its location it wasnít overly pricey - meal less than a tenner. Smart and lively with a cosy atmosphere and good service.

This pub has a great location on the Thames. The pub is huge and it is possible to sit outside with a very good view. Interior and customer group are in the touristic category. Go for the location.

We ended up here because this was the place we found where we could squeeze in a group of 16 people. But, we ended up in the basement... This Nicholsons pub is a nice riverside pub with stunning views of the Thames. But it was dark, and November... Back to the basement; not a cosy place at all and slow service. I always went upstairs and ordered my ales. Pretty good selection of ales in good condition. Best ales this evening were Robinsons Double Hop and Brains Jack Black Oatmeal Stout.
