Really busy bar. Tourist hotspot. Not got the same range as the central one.
Managed a couple of scoops as guests different. Try this one early. It’s popular and struggle to get sat down

Visited on a Friday afternoon. Fairly busy but service was still good. Nice selection of Porterhouse beers. Also a decent bottle selection from Europe and the U.S. Prices seemed very reasonable. Would visit again if in Dublin.

Very tourist orientated, but to be expected given the location. Own beers are pretty good, service is OK.

Wonderfully set up pub with various sections / levels for seating. Mostly Porterhouse beers on tap, which available to order in flights: 3 x 7 oz. for €5.50, which is nice. Some guest taps as well, and an extensive bottle selection. Inside, there were some locals playing traditional Irish music, which certainly enhanced the experience. All in all, great place to stop.

Very nice bar. The ambiance is great. The place looks and feels like a pub should, warm and cosy. Their own brews are perfect and the kist of other beers covers the intire globe. Definitely worth a visit.

Bustling bar with full range of porterhouse regulars and often one-off plus guests from Ireland/ further afield at reasonable enough prices. Good selection in the fridges from Irish micros too at 5-6euro a bottle. Had food a few years back and still seems like a good range at good value. Friendly and helpful staff. Look out for occasional cask beers

This is the place to go in Dublin for Irish Craft beer. Every tourist has to stop in the first pub they see and have a pint of Guinness; and that is fine. But don’t cheat yourself out of a visit (or ten) to Porterhouse; good food, great craft beer and authentic ambiance.

Located towards the end of the Temple Bar area of Dublin, this pub is huge and layered, very much like the London sister pub. Wooden interiors and a multitude of bars scattered around the place, with the usual old bottle showcased around the walls. Beer selection is good and the same as the Porterhouse Central: they stock a large variety of PH beers (around 10 I’d say), including some seasonals like the RIS, the barley wine and the Kolsch. Food menu is the same as the Porterhouse Central’s: varied and extensive enough to have everyone happy, going well beyond the basic burgers and bangers. We had We had some signature burgers that proved extremely tasty. Prices for the burgers are slightly high I’d say at round EUR 12.5. Consideing that it fills you for the night and taking into account central Dublin prices though, that does not sound too bad at all. They do live music 7/7 in this venue, including some seemingly fine Irish folk, so good entertainment during dinner. As for other Porterhouse locations, this is not a place for ticks but it’s very good for decent beer and good food, with the plus of live music.
