Yeah this place is the bomb. Where are all the reviews!!?? Awesome ambiance- lively, open kitchen, amazing smells of the experiment dishes. You can tell in seconds that this is a place that knows how to make some good ****ing food. Everything on the menu looked incredible. We had the bacon maple popcorn, burgers, roasted bone marrow, mac n cheese. Candied bacon ice cream for dessert. Insane flavors, bigger portions than I expected. Excellent service- we were allowed to have 1oz samples of any beer on tap just to try and could do 4oz sampler flights of 4 beers at a time. Exactly 12 taps on with big variety and obvious care taken to showcase local CA brewers: Lost Abbey, Bruery, Drakes, Highwater, Marin, Fox Barrel, Stone, i.a. Lots of beers I’ve never heard of and decent pricing like $7 for 8oz of Lost Abbey Mayan Judgment Day. Server was very patient with our ridiculous beer orders. Really loved my experience here. Food is forefront, excellent beer selection is icing on the cake. A foodie+beer nerd’s paradise. We got out of there for $120 for 5 people with drinks, dinner, and dessert. Great value given the quality. The fries with the siracha ketchup was insane.

Hands down the best gastropub in Riverside, The Salted Pig sports rotating drafts (always at least one beer you’ve *got* to try, and always at least one IPA) as well as an well-stocked assortment of bottled craft brews; and a menu of toothsome snacks, appetizers, burgers, and full dinners. You can’t go wrong with the french fries and amazing house-made ketchup, or the filthy fries smothered in roasted garlic and ale cheese, perfect to fortify you for that next glass, goblet, or bottle of beer from Russian River, Ballast Point, or Lost Abbey. For true beer fans, nothing in Riverside competes with the Pig.

I dig this place. Beat craft brew in riverside.
