The Trestle Inn

I’ve been to this place twice and both times it’s been quick service with not many people in the bar. It’s dimly lit with bar stools and a few high tops. There’s a room in the back, but I’ve only seen it used for a private party.
The service is quick and the bartenders love talking about whiskey. The food comes out rather quick as well.
The beer selection isn’t huge, I believe 8 taps, but they are priced very well, especially during happy hour, and the variety is nice. I’ve had Alesmith, Allagash, and Stone there, to name a few.
The food is decent, but not a great value. I spent $7 on pigs in a blanket and received only a few, I believe 5, finger foods. They were good, but not worht $7.
Overall I really like this place, it’s quiet and a great place to stop before going to a concert at the Electric Factory. I will be coming here more.

I stopped in on a slow Wednesday night to duck in out of the cold. The exterior of the place hasn’t been touched up since reopening so if you don’t see the small chalkboard sign on the sidewalk you’d think the place is still closed. You enter into a cozy room with the bar and a few tables along the wall. Taps number 12 and have all craft offerings. Styles from Pils to Oude Bruin were on when I came in so it had something for each of our party. Food list is small but very interesting and while I didn’t eat, I’ve been told they make tasty pub fare. The back room gets shaking during the weekends but was empty the night we were there. retro go-go dancer (Betty Page) videos were being shown on the side wall and during the busy days they have a dancer on the bar (I’m told) but not as raunchy as it once was. I would say the inside of the place has a near "crumy" feel to it but that gives it some nice ambiance and a comfortable feel. Wide selection of whiskey. Nice place and I’ll be back.
