Couple quick tips: CASH ONLY at this location. Avoid disappointment; bring lots of pesos. Also, prices are in pesos. The store is open. The address on 10th Av is correct between 14th and 16th, but that is not the point shown on the little map, that is their old location. Just go down 10th Ave until you find it. The store is small, like 8x8 cell small. There are shelves floor to ceiling on two walls and one cooler in the back. There is only one guy working so if the lights are on, but it is during business hours he’s probably just gone to get lunch or something. The day I went I had to wait like 4 minutes for someone to show up and let me in. There is NO air-conditioning, and it is hot in there. The one employee spoke decent English and seemed to know about the products he had. Triple bagged what I did get so it wouldn’t get dropped. Big disappointment in that there was no Minerva, or Tempus, and only one bootle of Cucapa in stock, but with no Visa machine I couldn’t afford the $189 pesos for the bottle of Lowrider. Luckily I got the last bottle of Cucapa Classica at the Wal-Mart a few blocks over. Prices for imports seemed a little high for American and British crafts, but where else in Playa will you get them? Other Mexican crafts and Latin lagers were fairly cheap, in the $20-$30 peso range. Overall, my trip was kind of a failure, as they didn’t have much of what I was looking for in stock and I wouldn’t have had enough pesos even if they did, but it is the only store of its kind in the region.

What ever said, this place is still running. Closed on Sundays and opened only in afternoons. A nice variety of Mexican beers, some from North- and Southamerica, plus 20-30 bottles from Europe. Nice staff. Best shop in PdC to buy beer, not that the competition is hard...

Very nice selection of Mexican hand crafted beers

Nice and clean little store just 2 blocks off of 5th ave. There are a handful of American and lots of European beer but I wasn’t too interested them. There are probably 50+ Mexican Craft beer, mostly just on shelves, but some in a cooler. The service wasn’t bad, but I don’t speak any spanish, so it was more my fault than theirs. He tried to help. Import beer was quite expensive, but I have nothing to compare it to. Mexican beer ranged from 30 pesos to 200. I’ll stop in any time I’m back in PDC!
