The best place in town! Good selection on both tap and bottles, but a little small. Not much to eat. Great atmosphere and service!

Great place! "Don’t ask for the blask" here! Great atmosphere, selection of beers and staff! Nice music too. Not much to eat but this is a minor thing in this bar.

Pretty much the best place in Göteborg I’d say, if you want local or micro beer and not get the average drinking crowd. Mellow, often fairly quiet place. I visit often and am probably biased by the friendship I have with the owner, but I still recommend this place to everyone and anyone who is looking for some good/great/unusual beers and super good service.
Centrally located, easy to get to by going to tram/bus stop "Valand" and then a short walk.
Basement location, so phone/wireless internet connection not good, but with the beer selection and rating on paper, who needs reception?
Not that cheap any more, but then again I’m willing to pay for quality.
Cash and cards both well accepted. Mainly soft jazz music from the speakers at a low volume.
I’ve been going pretty often since 2007 or 2008 or so, don’t remember, but many times per month I’m there and have only good things to say about the owner, the staff and the place itself. Don’t expect much lagers though, I believe there’s one. Also wine selection is not what you should go for. No hard spirits available. But hey, did I mention there’s tons of awesome beers?

Lovely little bar by the university, quite chi-chi and jazzy and hip. Great selection of beers, including quite a few from the UK in ’export’ varieties (Sam Smiths, Wold Top, etc). However, you need deep pockets to drink here - even the local beer on draft was SKK79 for a demilitre, though it was very nice. I suppose you pay for the beer selection and the rarity of finding anything other than Carlsberg and Tuborg.

Very cosy and atmospheric with some nice furniture and artifacts. The beer range is quality both in terms of the draught and the bottled beers. Friendly service. A real gem.

Small cozy bar near famous avenyn in gothenburg. Big bottle selection and around 10-12 taps with mostly swedish beer. Not a big food selection but everything they serve is high quality. The staff id very friendly and owner Reza is amazing. A must if you are in Gothenburg!

Small and extremely cozy beer cellar with some pavement tables for outside drinking and eating when the weather allows for it. The owner, Reza, is a true beer enthusiast and will happily guide you through his catalog, which consists of a solid tap line and a nice bottle selection. While the main emphasis is on Belgian beers - the lambic selection is great, for example - you can also pick up some hard-to-find brews from the elusive Närke brewery as well as selected Scandinavian, American and international micros. The food is also rather tasty, and prices are quite acceptable (at least from a Norwegian point of view ;-)). Excellent service from a knowledgeable staff, headed by the super-amiable Reza. A must-stop for any beer geek or lover of good beers if in Gothenburg.

Me and a friend came to drink Stormaksporter, but they were out of it, so we didn’t stay for long. But they had a good draft list, though the draft prices were harsh - 79 SEK for a pint is scroll past material. The bottles were impressive, lots of swedish stuff (including Dugges Idjit and Perfect Idjit), American goodies like Oak Aged Yeti and a couple of Stone beers, best lambik selection I saw in Göteborg, having both Sant Lamvinus and a couple of Lou Pepes. Will visit again when in Göteborg.
