Went to quite elaborate lengths to get to this place. It’s an excellent pub but maybe not worth such a dramatic detour. It’s about .5 km from the Palmovka Metro. The atmosphere is excellent and driven by the locals. We felt very welcome. You sit in a typical wood panelled Czech boozer and share the space with the polished brass brewing equipment. They were serving 4 of their own beers when I went and they all tasted good. Never had the food but it looked pretty good.

Visited March 2013. Why on earth didn’t I go there before? A bit far for someone who is too lazy to find the proper tram and end up taking a cab, but I didn’t regret it one bit. Great, tasty beers, Fell in love with the light lager (svetly lezak) and had a plate of rather decent ribs. Reservation seems to be a must as it fills up quite fast. Service was impeccable as our table was handled by a sweet middle aged lady. Neighboring table got stuck with someone on the rag though... Anyhow, a great brewpub with plenty to offer. Highly recommended.

Close to Bulovka Tram Station. A nice place, with quite a few people having their lunch. I skipped the food and went for their beers, which are really good. Nice atmosphere, nice service. Well worth a visit.

Easy to get to via tram 3 from Florenc station (get out at Bulovka). Arrived at opening time and soon enough all tables were occupied, most people taking their lunchbreak and not drinking. Easy enough to see why, as the food was extremely cheap and looked delicious. Shared a table with a very old Czech woman whose English was fantastic. Beers are mostly above average (especially the Černý), nice to see the brewers experimenting with different styles, always warrants a return.

A very nice place. Not fancy at all, just a practical pub crowded with local clientele. I was on my own and had to share table with 5 young Czech, very pleasant. Communcation bit difficult. They had 4 own brews on tap, tasted 3 and they were perfect. Food is plain Czech food, nothing fance, just good. Again, beer was perfect, athmosfere OK, recommendated location.

An excellent brewpub a bit far out from the city center, but easy to reach. Take the Metro to Palmovka, transfer to tram 10, 24, 25 or 55. Get off at Bulovka and the brewpub is just down the street. 4 beers on tap, showed at a chalk board. The Brown Ale was really good! I did not eat, but I ate here in 2008. Classic Czech pub food, which I like. If you are interessted in history you can visit the monument where the bastard Reinhard Heydrich was mortually wounded in an attack in 1942. Follow the street further to the left from the tram stop. You can not miss the tall column. (Visited 25th February 2012)

I love this place. Herr Richters brews just never fails to please. Hard to get a table at times, as the pub is rather small. A bit too far from the city center, but once you´re there you wont regret the trip. Food has been decent each time I´ve eaten there. The service very good and friendly. Never had a chance to chat with the owner, but Im sure he must be genius ´cause his beers are just wonderful. Met many beer-geeks there and a few regulars who take great pride in their local pub. Rightly so, this is one of Prahas best!

Excellent brewpub pouring 4 beers at the time, but with a rotating selection of 8-9 unconventiannal brews (for the Czech Republic). All beer recipes I tried were perfectly executed, no aw-flavors, super tasty. Service is efficient and sometimes even simling. Food is the normal czech pub fare, sold at relatively low price. Really worth a detour IMO. A little bit out of the way, so taking the tram is recommended.

One of my favourite places in Praha. The beer is truly excellent, their 12º is probably one of my overall beer darlings in the country. Is some trip from the city centre but totally worth the effort. Excellent pub food too, and nice service. A must-visit place in town without doubts.

In my humble opinion, this is a must visit when in Prague. Not only for the excellent crafted beers, but also the athmosphere, it is a neighbourhood pub, so tou might feel a bit lost as a tourist, but hey, thats a part of exploring. Another good thing, is the well prapared and tasty food, large portions as well. Perfect place for a lunch meal and some well deserved beers.
