Good selection, interesting building. A bit smokey. Edit: Now they are brewpub for Kaskenmäen Panimo (04/2011), but they brew very seldom, so by default you don’t find own beers. Very interesting athospheare. The place has been in several movies. I usually visit here daytime to avoid crowd.

No music, only talk ; ) Lots of empty beer bottles and cans to check out.

Like the name suggests, the bar is located in a old pharmacy near the Aura river. The bar is separated in different spaces and rooms with tables, comfy chairs and old bottles circling walls of the rooms, resulting in a warm atmosphere. The selection is very good, but not extraordinary. Prices are decent compared to other bars in the city.

The old pharmacy makes for an interesting environment for a bar. Good selection of beers and some pretty decent whiskies too. Decent prices.

Went there for one or two before dinner at the university complex. Really dig the "pharmacy" style around, ok service. Got in a nice chat with one of the patrons there too. Good service. Still, the two Finnish "craft" beers they’ve had on tap - Keisari Luomu and Kuohu IV, were hardly far from the mainstream. The fridge carried some nice stuff though! In the end had the best experience there, but only because I stumbled on a cool guy to chat with.

Good selection of beers, one of the better ones in Turku. Nice interior with decent amounts of space. Tends to be quite noisy place, though. Some bartenders aren’t that friendly.

Interesting interior. Own brews are plus. Service wasn’t that superb. Bartender was slightly fed up. I guess we were disturbing his peace. By the way it was Wednesday evening round 6 pm.

Nice atmosphere and deco, a-okay service. Good place to read during the day, packed and lively in the evening. Selection aint that big, but theres a bunch of good ones, both on taps and bottles. Rarely changing though.

Good fridge some novelties and rareties. Many pumps, but most not of interest to me. Used to be (pre-06/2007) utterly full of smokers and dense smoke, with all the non-smokers stuck in a plain cold uncomfortable room out back next to the loos. Fortunately we’re first class citizens again.

Good selection, friendly staff, of which atleast a few know about beers. Gets a bit smoky during evenings (even the non-smoking section, but not that bad). Popular place among youngsters and also some more "famous" people. Nice place in the afternoon before the crowds get here.
