76 Note that this is definitely a brewery now...with a tap room...starting I believe at some point in 2018. Brewing is downstairs and a great tap room upstairs...you have to walk thru one to get to the other. The layout is original. From the cool upstairs tap room you can walk out onto an indoor balcony with your beer and overlook the brewery while drinking. As you approach the stairs...each stair has a single word...spelling out "it takes a village to raise a beer"...very cool! I also love the saying painted on the side of their beer truck..."you don't want to be a passenger in life...but if you are a passenger...it's best that it's in a beer delivery truck" LOL! Anyone that hasn't visited since before 2018 needs to return...it's a really good brewery now...and a cool place to visit with a great staff. I highly recommend Village as a must stop in Calgary. |
64 Not a brewery to really visit unless you’re touring on Saturday. No tap room, but you can buy 473s and gear in the brewery. |
62 NO TASTING ROOM - This is a production brewery that only has a tour on Saturdays and nothing else. They do sell can’s and swag onsite that is all. I didn’t go on a Saturday so I had nothing. |
82 Turned up on a saturday with my wife and they let us in even though they were closed. There was a tour taking place and we were allowed to sample the beer and join the tour. A very good small berwery with great beer and service. |
90 Village has only been in Calgary for 11 months and so far they are doing 4 fantastic beer, offering great service and supporting local music and arts. |
