Great back street pub. Beers have always been well kept with a good spread of beer type. Service friendly, with lots of breweriana around. Choose your ciders, belgians etc from a fridge in the bar area and take them up to the bar. £3.10 for Westons Vintage. Great Pub

Only visited a couple of times, but this pub offered a wide range of real ales and had plenty of Belgian bottles on offer. Service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant on both occasions. Has a reputation as the best pub in town, and it would certainly take some beating. Very good.

A wonderful, old-fashioned Banks & Taylor pub, with a regular rotation of cask ales from all over the country, as well as from B&T. Also cider, perry and European beers on tap, and a fine selection of Belgian bottled beers. In addition a huge and eclectic collection of breweriana. Everything you could want from a pub: no mobiles, no children, and, to quote their advertisement, ’no crap’.
