Pearl Street Mall location previously occupied by BJs. breweries in these sorts of spaces tend to make very safe, very plain beer, and while I like that they appreciate Belgian styles, they simply don’t have the talent to make them flavorful and balanced with proper mouthfeel and carbonation. you’ll find a few ticks and maybe an enjoyable beer from their lineup, but you’re just as likely to find a diacetyl bomb. most likely, though, you get an expensive and forgettable beer.

Very new place (still smells of wet paint). Been open for about a week if I remember correctly. Friendly staff, pretty crowded. Hard to get parking. Beers were okay, but could be improved. As a brewer, I’d imagine it would be quite difficult to brew on their tight set up behind the bar. 6 or 7 house beers with quite a few more [mostly generic] craft guest beers. The food ranged from mediocre to good, and probably will be better in a few months.

Visited on October 8, 2012. Shared a 6 beer sampler with a friend, did not eat. Super good service, very nice beers. My friend got very exited about the food menu, so she’ll go back for food. If I find my way back to Boulder I’ll go back to this nice place for sure.
