68 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 11/20 Steve_0 (87) Denver, Colorado | March 25, 2013 This place has a solid selection of brews and is pretty close to the strip. Just a five minute cab/car ride. Decent selection of singles, six-packs, and imports. I even found a couple Still Nacht’s 4-5 months after its release. Probably the best place to go if you are staying on the strip. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 MacMoney (58) Alabama | September 15, 2012 A great selection of food, a good selection of beer, at least from a Finn’s point of view. Not sure how it compares to markets in the US in general. I like the ambiance of these kinds of places so... | 60 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 cfrancis (72) Ottawa, Ontario | August 26, 2012 Above average grocery store selection. Lips of Faith, Bruery, Ballast Point. I’d go back again simply because the selection of beer spots in Vegas is extremely thin. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 15/20 Wittales (30) Las Vegas, Nevada | February 9, 2012 Found some great beers(love buzz and anchors xmas ale 2008) but expensive. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 DuffMan (218) the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta | February 1, 2012 Biggest Whole Foods I’ve ever been in, with a decent beer selection that for Whole Foods is better than average for sure. I was happy with choices from Nevada (Knee Deep, Joseph James, Tenaya Creek) in particular. Not far from the south end of the strip. I’ll be back. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 Travlr (999) Washington, Washington DC | October 1, 2011 Pretty average beer selection, kind of light on the local stuff. Good east coast selection, which didn’t help me much. Worth a look, and very easy to get to from the airport. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 MikeF (204) Cleveland, Ohio | April 24, 2011 It’s a whole foods so they have some decent beers, but I really think they could do better with the west coast selection. Average or below average regional selection. | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 BMan1113VR (311) Los Angeles, California | January 10, 2010 Store just south of the airport in the Town Square Complex. Seems like a standard Whole Foods. Selection was pretty similar to what I am use to in Los Angeles. A few (counted 4) Nevada made beers. Most beers were in six packs, but there was a singles section. Lots of DFH including Pangaea, which I have not seen in LA. Also had a few cases of the Abyss, and some Stone beers that I haven’t seen on shelves for a few months back in SoCal. Very large glassware selection including just about every conceivable Stone Glass (vertical epic, ruination, and even a double bastard glass which I haven’t seen before). Sake selection was quite nice as well. No real ciders or meads as far as I could see. Wine selection was good. Food was typical for a Whole Foods. Beer was kind of scattered in other places other than the "beer aisle" and the sake was half way across the store from the beer. The Abyss was in a whole separate section from the rest of the beer. |
