Pretty nice place, very nice bottle and tap selection, good bartenders. The main thing that sucks about this place is that their prices are ridiculous. 8.50 for a pint of white rajah? That’s insane.

When I visited: Late January 2013. What I had: 2012 Anchor Our Special Christmas Ale and Uinta Hop Notch IPA on tap, a few white wines for the Mrs. What I liked: Very impressive draught list, awesome bustling vibe, great live music, clearly visible chalkboard and beer fridge, attractive and well-organized beer menu, comfortable bar, server was happy to give samples, fun spot all around. What I disliked: Aside from the fact that we couldn’t stay longer, nothing. Would I go back? Definitely. Overall Rating: 88

Easy to find location on Front Street. Street parking. Friendly staff with good beer knowledge. I had six new beers with 4 from Ohio. $2 to $5 samplers. No food, but server for restaurant next door was taking orders. Enjoyed my visit.

(Visited 02/2012 and several times since): This world of beer location is in downtown Columbus on Front Street and shares a building with Shadowbox Cabaret. There is a pay lot behind the building and metered street parking.

The inside is large and open with multiple levels joined by a spiral staircase. The main bar starts right near the side entrance and wraps around all the way to the far wall. Several TVs and a large chalkboard devoted to featured beers. There are high tables for seating elsewhere. Small stage upstairs too where local musicians play.

The beer list is pretty impressive, with around 50 taps and 500 bottles. I wouldn’t go as far as to say they get beers you can’t find elsewhere (and likely cheaper) but they usually have some good options and do "tap takeovers" pretty regularly where one-offs and specials show up (and the brewer, in the case of their Four String event).

Service at WOB has been consistently good on my visits, whether sitting at the bar or at a table. The staff is well-educated on beer and focused on customer service. They also have a beer club that earns prizes based on unique beers tried.

No food at this location but you can order from the Shadowbox kitchen.

Overall I wrote this place off and didn’t visit for awhile after it opened, and while it’s easy to say "it is what it is" I haven’t had a problem getting a good beer here and enjoying my time spent.

Typical wob establishment. Nothing out of the ordinary on draft when I stopped in, good bottle selection. Got a pint of a local pale ale for a mere $7. Many better places in the area.

Always a great beer selection. Very knowledgeable staff. Helped me sift through all the beers I have already had to get me one I would really appreciate. Live music on Thursdays has been pretty great as well. Killer College night on Wednesdays for 1/2 priced drafts!

Stopped here after visiting CBC. Its right down the street from each other in the Brewery District. The bar had a nice feel to it. To a new beer enthusiast it would seem overwhelming. To me it had the usual suspect beers that most of us had but I did find some goodies like DORIS.If you are in the area you should stop in

Stopped in here after receiving a gift card for Christmas. Super cool location in the Old Wurley Building in The Brewery District. Within walking distance of Columbus Brewing Company. Interior is hip, clean, bright. Two large chalkboards list all they have on tap. We went specifically for a certain beer which was gone when we got there. You’ll have that I guess. But when the waitress handed us the two menus, draft, vs bottle, she even mentioned it wasn’t up to date. I suppose its hard to keep up with that many beers. Service was OUTSTANDING. Someone was always coming by to see what we needed. We went with a Great Divide and the New Hoppin Frog. Overall, it would be a fun place to go if you’re in the area. It was a BIT pretentious though filled with after work 20 somethings sipping their "Lighter" craft beers. I found the selection, while large, it was rather "Safe" and boring. I have had just as good selection and better at WInking Lizard. Go if your in the area. Dont bother if you are not. **There was a small food menu handed to us but we did not eat there after having eaten at CBC. Looked like alot of folks were carting in pizza from somewhere else.
