Aroma is sharp cherry, light funk, wood and cherry pits. Flavour is quite sour, funky, woody and "wet" with a light cherry sweetness and complex notes of cherry pits and hai. Ends dry. Very drinkable without compromising complexity. abemorsten (112), Norway

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 13, 2009 750 ml bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours a nice hazy rusty red, a bit brighter in parts, murky, small white head that dies to near nonexistant, just clings to the corners tiny. Aromas are tart cherries, barnyard funk, a touch of sweet fruitiness, cereal grains and soured mash. Interesting. Initial gives a nice blast of sour cherries up front, cereal grains underneath, lactic acid, a bit of funkiness sticks to the palate, berry sweetness in thee, straw, barnyard. Sourness dies a bit, but still sticks to the palate extremely well. Lactic sourness, decent but lighter funk. Lighter side of medium bodied, expresses itself a bit more as it warms. Lip smacking sourness.. Yummy. bluebetty (111), Australia
