Bottle. 25.4 oz. Pours deep amber with a thick, frothy tan head. Aroma of barley, toasted malts, and raisins. Well-rounded body and mouthfeel. Quick, nice finish. Good dubbel.

No discernible carb, short lived minimal head. Aroma of figs, plums, dark fruits and spices. Rich, sweet, syrupy.

Solid dubbel here. Had on tap at Blind Tiger. Poured a hazy, dark amber with a medium head. Highly malty aroma with some wild, yeasty odors. Flavor of sweet malts and some bread. Clean, crisp finish.

Bottle. Poured a rich mahogany with a thin off white head. Nose had some candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Nicely carbonated and easy drinking. Has a nice malt yeast backbone but lacks some depth. I had this right After An allagash triple and found the dubbel to be less complex. Definitely improves as it warms and reminds me a bit of RR salvation.

Bottle. Poured a dark auburn-brown with a nice, medium sized off white head. Aroma of cocoa, nuts, caramel, fruit and bread. A nice blend. Flavor was not mind blowing, but it had some complexity and was very drinkable. Palate was a negative, a bit thin and harsh from the carbonation. After taste is also just ok. Great aroma, ok flavor, crappy palate.

(Bottle poured into trappist glass). Poured very dark brown with very small head, and you could smell the complexity of the malts... with a hint of cocoa(?) Flavor retained the malty sweetness, but it was not overpowering. Finished with a bitter aftertaste that provided a nice bite at the end.

From a bottle poured brown with a small head. Nice malty sweet flavor with a quick spicy finish.
