Commercial Description:
Our I.P.A. recipe is formulated true to its style. These beers were originally brewed for the British merchant vessels traveling to India. To endure the long voyages, these beers were brewed to higher alcohol content and used an abundant amount of hops as a preservative to stabilize the Beer.

Pours a slightly hazed deep amber into a shaker. Off-white head with good retention pancakes as it recedes leaving sheet lacing. Bacon quiche aromas? Tastes like a spanish omelette with a side of bacon...something is truly wrong here. No best before date, but one of the numbers at the bottom begins 050809...

on tap @ GIBF, nice IPA, needs a little more character, not enough hop taste and aftertaste, not enough body, but enjoyable.

A golden IPA with a frothy thin white head. A pleasant citrusy aroma of hops, fragrant and classy. In mouth, a good rye malt with c-hops, grapefruits, grainy, hops are a bit metallic. Medium bodied. On tap at Lucky’s Lounge, Terminal A, Boston Logan Airport. July 1st, 2009.

Draft at ACBF09. Pours a clear light orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops, and sweet malt. Flavor of pale malts at first and some sweet fruits. Not too hoppy really, but still enjoyable. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Poured into a tasting glass from the tap. The color is a deep amber color with a slightly white head. The smell is a bit a little floral and bit piney at first with a hint of malt. The taste is malty, a bit bitter at first, hints of orange peel, a little hops, and toffee sweetneess. This beer goes down smooth with a little bit of kick to the back of the palette but not overpowering.
