(6/20/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Berlin. Hazy golden with a big, quickly-collapsing, big white head. Quite unpleasant phenolic yeasty aroma, slightly infected-like, with some fruitiness. Sweetish flavor with some wheat and some light fruity esters. Rather light in body. A rather lousy Weizen.

From tap at the brewpub, as hefeweizen hell. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Light fruity estery aroma. Light milky sourness too. Flavour is mild estery flavour with a light sourness. Mild citric and dry wheaty finish. Light milky too.

Draught at the brewpub. Some lemon, some banana, not very impressive. Best drunk ice cold and not as sample no 4, I assume.

(Draught at the brewpub)
On June 5, 2008
Shady amber to golde color, white head. Sweet and estery banana scent. Herbal hoppy and banana estery taste, also malty sweet. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Herbal aftertaste.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, medium hite head. Fruity, spicy, and peppery. Ok mouthfeel, dry with quite bitter finish.
