shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq Sep 24, 2008 Tap. Toffee malt aroma. Red-brown color with minimal head. Slightly sweet toffee malt flavor with a light hops finish. Very nice. elihapa (407), Hawaii, USA Aug 23, 2008 On tap, Brewpub. Pours a light ruby-red with a smallish head. Sweet aroma of malt and some candied fruit (cherry?). Palate is smooth, medium-bodied, and crisp carbonation. Flavor is primarily sweet throughout with a touch of roasts, but a bit too heavy on butterscotch-sweet for me at times. Finishes refreshing, perhaps because of some hops for balance and crispness. BrewDad (1711), Olympia, Washington, USA Jan 21, 2008 Taster - Brew Moon Brewery - Honolulu, Hawaii
