[1882-20081205] Tap. Mild fruitiness in the aroma, not much there. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with no head. Lots of heavy malt and yeast flavour but has a fruity lightness overall. Medium-full body. Nice and fruity.

Draught at Coles, Buffalo, NY . Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s sweet, spicy, yeasty and fruity along with some light floral hops. Flavour’s slightly sweet, fruity and a bit spicy along with Belgian yeast -- nice. Average to medium bodied. Very good!

On tap at Coles, Buffalo. Appearance, blonde-orange with a small almost non existent head. Aroma: Grassy hops with some yeast and citrus. Flavour: Wheat, fruity and grassy. Hmm.

A very flavorful grand cru. There is quite a mix of flavors here from dark fruits to bitter spices. It is almost over the top and finishes very strong.

Tap at Bar Great Harry. Huge, lovely head on the pour. Some think it may be infected. So be it. The light acidity in this was wonderful, reminiscent of some Jolly Pumpkin efforts. Aroma has sour tangerine, green apple and radish. The flavor is a bit thin, mild wheat and basil, much like a heavy Berliner Weisse. Touches the tongue gently and goes down smooth. They should consider souring this on purpose.

Draft at BGH. Banana orange color with a gigantic head and lasting lace. Aroma is tart with citrus tangerine. Flavor is similar to a creamsickle, with orange and vanilla. I’m not sure this is supposed to be so acidic.

On tap at NABC Slightly cloudy gold color with a light and thin head. Yeasty and fruity on the nose, with hints of orange and banana. Same fruits in the taste, but there was also a slightly floral component to it. Off-dry for a beer. Very smooth and moderately heavy mouth feel. Overall a good if not amazing BSA.

Tapped into a goblet. A beautiful golden color that was moderately translucent. Don’t remember much of the aroma however the taste was good. It is a very smooth Belgian style with little of the sourness found in similar styles I’ve tried. Overall a good beer.
