Dec 10, 2009 12 ounce bottle courtesy of j12601. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Malty aroma with a bit of herbal hops. Taste is leafy, citrus hops. Slightly bitter. Medium bodied. Tasty.

Dec 10, 2009 12oz bottle -pours a rich light tan head and amber color. Aroma is resin/herbal, medium malt-caramel. After ½ minute the nose falls apart. Taste is herbal, medium malt-caramel. Mild/malty.

Sep 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear dirty orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite malty, lots of caramel malt, some raisin. Flavor of more bland caramel malt, some light citrus hops and tropical fruits in the finish. Decent and drinkable, better than the average suggests (sure, it’s not spectacular but it’s pretty solid).

Sep 10, 2009 Bottle, best by February, I can only imagine of 2010. Aroma of largely toasted malt with loads of marmalade. Flavor keeps the toasted malt going, though gets a little sweeter than pure toast, with hop notes that are gentle but notable and becoming more leafy and floral. I actually quite like it.
