From a 750 corked and caged bottle purchased at BevMo. Poured a cloudy amber with a moderate sized beige head. The nose has notes of fruit, mostly apple, some yeast, and some caramel. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet with some malt, caramel, yeast, and again that apple, along with some light spices, culminating in a dry spicy finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Almost clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of overripe fruit and Belgian yeast. Quite full-bodied, lot’s of fruit - also sweet overripe fruit - but apricots stand out, some solid esters at play here. Has a slight yeastiness. Quite quaffable. 231109

On draft at SL. Pour was an orange-brown color, nice off-white colored head. The aroma was doughy caramel with some phenolic and spicey notes. The flavor followed, doughy, earthy, caramel, fruits, a distinct spice that was pleasant, bready/yeasty, phenolic yeast character too. Mouthfeel was moderate to full, a bit creamy. Thanks, Robert, for a shot at this!

Kraftigt utblommad smak. Fruktig, brett anlagd. Sötman har en framskjuten plats - definierar upplevelsen till stor del. Kort sagt: en mycket angenäm bekantskap.

It poured a hazy golden liquid with a big white foam that left very little lacing. It had a smell of yeast, fruits and caramell. The smell was quite sweet and sticky. The mouthfeel was medium smooth with some stingyness. It had a light body and low bitterness. It tasted mostly of yeast and fruit. Felt a bit watery for a trappist. The alcohol was well hidden though.

Bottle from Beer Store. Orangish brown with a fizzy white head. Earthy sweet malty and fruity aroma. Tastes of raisin, dark fruit, molasses, and a sweet finish. Very bright palate.
