Delicate sweet caramel on the nose, nicely balanced by a distinct hoppy scent. Taste is refined, sugary malts, with notes of molasses, evenly balanced by an earthy, peppery and slight fruity hop bitterness. Thick in the mouth. Sweet malty, bold hop bitter ending. Good stuff! The aroma of a lot of malts, some fruits and a little alcohol. The taste of malts, fresh citrus, a little hop bitter and dry. The afteratste is bitter, a little sweet and dry. Hints of peach and citrus. Seems moderately hopped at first, with a hint of soap in the aftertaste, but as the beer warms up the Cascade character and the hopbitterness get stronger.
