May 28, 2009 Gushing to huge, dense & fine ochre head over fully muddy orange-amber beer. Wet grain - and a bit of butterscotch?? Bockbier-like smell, but somehow oxydized. More of the same in the taste, definitely oxydized, and quite a lot, even. Sweet and bready flavours, hazelnut oil. Pretty thick MF, pappery, old-tasting, lightstruck. Prematurely aged - 8 months before the BBD... wow!

May 27, 2008 Hazy amber beer with a small white head. Slightly fruity aroma. Nothing that really pops out. Mild bitter flavor but at the end the malty sweetness wins.

May 6, 2008 Bottle Clear amber body. Frothy off-white head. Aroma of some hops, citrus, vanilla, ... not very intense. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour: somewhat citric, but not very special. Balance is ok, but no complexity at all. Yet another De Proef beer.

Apr 2, 2008 Hazy darker blond beer with large white head. Sweet chocolate aroma, a little hoppy. Bitter pomelo palate, finish is first bit wattery but ending bitter and herby. I liked this one.

Mar 30, 2008 Hazy amber coloured beer with a large but diminishing white head and lots of carbonation. Very special, herby aroma, maybe overdone. Malty roasted touches. Full creamy palate. Finish is bitter herby, with a long spicey ending.

Dark golden almost amber color, with bid white head.
Aroma malty, fruity, and hops.
Medium body. Taste is very malty, sweet, a bit hopsbitter, good warming alcoholic touch.
